Brainstormer

The map draws itself

AI mind map generator that branches your challenge for you

An AI mind map generator turns one central challenge into a visual map: main branches for each direction, ideas as leaves. Brainstormer draws the map for you in seconds, and the same ideas can flip into SCAMPER columns or Six Hats lenses.

  • Type a challenge, get a branched map in seconds
  • Branches are named directions, not random spokes
  • The same map flips into SCAMPER, Six Hats or a flat wall
  • Cluster and converge when the map is full

Why

Sample brainstorm shown. Your challenges stay private.

Mind mapping is powerful and nobody wants to draw one

The method is proven: put the challenge in the middle, branch the main directions, hang ideas off the branches, and your thinking gets visibly wider. The problem was never the method. It was the twenty minutes of dragging boxes around a canvas while the actual thinking waits.

Brainstormer draws the map for you. Type the challenge, and the generator proposes four named branches with ideas already hanging as leaves. Every leaf is a real idea with an angle tag, not a keyword bubble. If you have read our guide on how to mind map, this is that process, run in seconds.

One wall, four views: the map is a lens, not a silo

In most tools the mind map IS the artifact, trapped in its layout. In Brainstormer the map is one lens over your idea wall. The same two dozen ideas can regroup into SCAMPER columns, argue through Six Thinking Hats, or lie flat as tagged notes, with one click. You see the branch structure when you want breadth and the framework when you want rigor.

Then the converge step does what mind maps never do on their own: it clusters the leaves into themes, scores them, and picks a winner with reasons. Try the Mind map lens in the studio above.

Built for thinking, not for diagram polish

This is not a diagramming suite with an AI button. There are no connector styles to fiddle with and no layout to babysit; the map exists to widen your options fast and then get out of the way. When the session ends you export the map as PNG or the ideas as Markdown and CSV, and move to execution.

Solo starts at $16 per month, and the Pro plan most people pick is $39 per month billed yearly. If you brainstorm with a team, shared maps and voting are on Team at $99.

Questions

Can I edit the branches the AI proposes?

Yes. Rename branches, add your own, drag ideas between them, or drop new leaves anywhere. The AI proposes a structure to react to, and yes-and mode builds on whatever you change.

Does the mind map export?

Yes: PNG for the visual map, Markdown and CSV for the ideas with their branch, cluster and score data.
