Terms of service

The short version: your content and the ideas you develop are yours, AI-generated suggestions are starting points you evaluate and own responsibility for, subscriptions renew until you cancel, and we expect fair, lawful use.

1. The service

Brainstormer is an AI brainstorming tool operated at brainstormer.ai. You give it a challenge; it generates ideas, applies ideation frameworks, clusters results and proposes prioritized picks. These terms are a binding agreement between you and Brainstormer covering every plan and the sample studio on the marketing site.

2. Accounts

You need an account with a confirmed email address. Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. One person per seat: sharing a seat between people breaks the plan terms.

3. Your content and ownership

Challenges, seed ideas and everything you write remain yours. To run the service we need a limited license to process your content (transmit it to model providers under no-training contracts, store your sessions, render exports). AI-assisted results you develop in your sessions are yours to use commercially, to the extent permitted by applicable law. We claim no ownership over your ideas.

4. The nature of AI output

Brainstormer suggests, structures and challenges; you judge and decide. Generated ideas can be imperfect, impractical or similar to ideas that exist elsewhere; scores are reasoned starting positions, not professional advice. You are responsible for evaluating output before acting on it, including legal clearance of names, claims and strategies.

5. Acceptable use

• No unlawful content or use, no attempts to generate content that violates others' rights.
• No reverse engineering, scraping, automated bulk querying or reselling of the service.
• No abuse of fair use: "unlimited brainstorms" means honest human use, not scripted extraction.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules, with notice where practical.

6. Plans, billing and cancellation

Plans are billed in USD, yearly by default (Solo $192/yr, Pro $468/yr, Team $1,188/yr) or monthly at the listed monthly prices. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancel anytime from your account and the plan runs to the end of the paid period. Price changes never apply retroactively to a running period. Team seats above the included five are billed per seat. Enterprise terms are set in the order form.

7. Availability and support

We target high availability but the service is provided "as is" without uptime guarantees outside an Enterprise SLA. We may change or retire features with reasonable notice for material changes.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including business decisions taken on the basis of generated ideas. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Privacy

Data handling is described in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms. In short: your content is private, never used to train models, and deletable.
