Idea management software pricing usually depends on the number of users, the contract length and the features in each tier, and enterprise vendors often quote on request. Brainstormer publishes three flat plans per company, from $149 a month billed yearly for up to 25 members.

How the idea management category usually charges

Most idea management and innovation platforms use one of three models. The first is per user pricing, where the bill grows with every employee you invite. The second is tiered pricing, where a higher tier unlocks more features or more active campaigns. The third, common among long established enterprise vendors, is a quote on request with an annual contract, often with a minimum term and a separate fee for implementation and training.

None of these models is wrong. Per user pricing is fair for small pilots, and quoted contracts make sense when a large company needs configuration, integrations and a rollout project run by the vendor. The difficulty for a buyer is that published list prices are rare, so it takes several calls before you can compare options. What drives the total cost beyond the license

The license is rarely the largest cost of an idea program. The real cost is people time: the admin who writes challenges and runs reviews, the reviewers who read every submission, and the managers who turn approved ideas into projects. A tool that saves review time can be worth more than a cheaper tool that leaves your team sorting a spreadsheet.

Which Brainstormer plan fits your company

Team suits a department or a company up to 25 people running a focused program, for example an operations team testing a first improvement challenge. It includes three open challenges at a time, AI expand and score, duplicate merge, the pipeline, voting, CSV export and 20 AI workshops a month. At 25 members that is under $6 per member per month on yearly billing.

Business suits a company that wants a continuous program across several teams. It adds unlimited challenges, strategic goals with weights, the board report, the admin role, the audit trail as CSV and 100 AI workshops a month, for up to 150 members.

Enterprise suits larger organizations with up to 1,000 members. It includes everything in Business, 500 AI workshops a month, full workspace export, an invoice with your company details and priority email support with a first reply within one business day. Monthly or yearly, and what happens as you grow

Every plan can be paid month to month or yearly. Yearly billing costs half as much per month, so Team is $149 instead of $298, Business $399 instead of $798 and Enterprise $999 instead of $1,998. Monthly billing is useful if you want to run a first challenge before committing for a year.

If your program grows past the member limit or you need unlimited challenges, you move to a higher plan in the billing settings. Your challenges, ideas, scores and history stay where they are.

Is Brainstormer priced per user?

No. Each plan is a flat price per company workspace with a member limit: up to 25 on Team, 150 on Business and 1,000 on Enterprise.

Can we buy Enterprise without a sales process?

Yes. Enterprise is bought by card like the other plans, at $999 a month billed yearly ($11,988 a year) or $1,998 month to month.

How much does yearly billing save?

Yearly billing saves 50 percent compared with paying month to month on every plan.

Are AI features charged separately?

No. AI expand, scoring, duplicate detection and theme grouping are included in every plan. The number of AI workshops per month depends on the plan: 20, 100 or 500.

Can we get an invoice with our company details?

Yes, invoices with company details are part of the Enterprise plan.
